Where to eat during your stay in Ljubljana?
Instead of looking for a restaurant to taste some dishes from Slovenia, join a workshop where you can learn how to prepare a traditional Slovenian meal. And you will eat it fresh immediately after it is cooked. Classes are run by the local food enthusiats who will share with you their own traditional family recepies.
Organised for minimum 2 people, workshops take place in the evening from 18h45 onwards, every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, only 200 m from Ljubljana main market. You can come alone or in a small group, but previous booking is necessary.
What will you cook and eat?
You will be cooking with fresh ingridients typical for the season bought from the local farms or a nearby market. Local experts will show you how to prepare a warm starter, a main dish and a dessert. No previous cooking experience is required.
With your meal you will also taste Slovenian wines, homemade juices and typical Slovene digestif.
