Traditional Slovenian Evening
Travelling in a group or alone, many travelers want to meet the locals and learn more about the local traditions and gastronomy. I have already written about workshops and experiences with the locals in Soča valley as well as about the cooking classes in Ljubljana. But you can also experience traditional Slovenian music and dance while having a typical Slovenian dinner.
Organised in a restaurant at Ljubljana city centre, your Traditional Slovenian Evening will start with a welcome drink at the entrance to the restaurant. Folk dancing group will entertain you throughout your dinner dancing, singing and playing traditional Slovenian music.
Dressed in the regional folklore costumes they will also show you some local sketches and invite you to join them on the dance floor. Your menu will consist of 4 courses, including starter, soup, salad with a main and a dessert. A vegetarian menu is on offer as well.
Custom made events, dinners and other activities can be organised for you upon request. Whatever event you choose, I am sure you will enjoy your evening learning new things about Slovenia and meeting some interesting people.
